About Us
Clive Doyle: A professional Safety Officer and former senior police officer who has and is: running safety operations for football and rugby union at league level, as well as international football, rugby union, rugby league, half marathons and musical concerts. Clive has been a prominent charity volunteer for over ten years, so he is very experienced at charity events held in public places.
Steve Laws: Is one of the Training Directors for TESS Ltd. He has been working with established Football Safety officers, trainers and assessors for the last 4 years. As a soon to retire Police Officer he has three decades experience in Law Enforcement and training.
Steve’s training qualifications include a Certificate in Education with Greenwich University, NVQ level 4 in Learning and Development with OCR, Internal verifier V1 Award with City and Guilds and D32/33 Assessor certificate with OCR.
Rod Doyle: An experienced Learning and Development consultant with a strong and qualified background as a trainer and coach, with many years experience as an NVQ assessor (A1 Assessors Award) too. As a professional facilitator of a range of courses including Sales, Leadership and Management, Employability, and Customer Service Skills, he holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) Status and a Certificate in Education from Bedfordshire University. He is also a Member of the Institute for Learning (MIfL) and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).
As one of the Training Directors at TESS Ltd, he has first-rate experience of creating a variety of training solution packages for SME's, Public Sector Organisations, and large Private Corporations. His knowledge is well reflected in our vast, bespoke and accredited courses.
Training Event Safety Solutions Ltd (TESS Ltd) has been established as a company providing training solutions for event organisers and stewards at sporting/leisure events, customer service representatives in various industries and numerous volunteers across a range of sectors and events.
Our practical experience has taught us that if stewards or volunteers are to work in areas where the public attend, particularly on streets, town centres and in car parks then they MUST be trained so that they do not present a risk or danger to themselves, pedestrians or motorists.
